The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
